Precision Eye Care has been a leader in eye care and eye surgery in Southeast Missouri for over 30 years. Precision Eye Care is unique among eye care practices because we provide an all-in- one diagnostic, treatment, and surgical center for all diseases of the eye unlike any other eye center in Southeast Missouri. One of our primary focuses is cataract surgery. We also provide glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye exams, macular degeneration, dry eye treatment and eyelid corrective surgeries. Drs. Anton Beffa and John Fitz are board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, fellows of The American College of Surgeons.

Cataract Surgery

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in your eye. Often brought on with age, cataracts develop slowly over time and can lead to a significant loss of vision. Cataract surgery involves removing the damaged lens and replacing it with an artificial lens.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that affect the optic nerve and ultimately result in vision loss. If treated early, it’s possible to stop or slow the onset of glaucoma with surgery, laser treatment, or medication.

Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is a medical condition that may result in a loss of vision in the center of the visual field. Often there are no symptoms, however over time damage to part of the retina, can make it hard to read or drive.

Eyelid Correction Surgery

Eyelid correction surgery, sometimes called blepharoplasty, is a procedure to restore and correct the functioning of an affected eyelid. It can also improve the aesthetics of the eyes and face, by removing excess skin. The procedure can also resolve functional and cosmetic problems of the periorbita, which is the area between your eyebrow and your upper cheek.
